My Favorite Restaurants for Mother’s Day

My Favorite Restaurants for Mother’s Day

If you need to make plans for Mother’s Day, these places have you covered.

As a mother, I know how busy life can get. That’s why today I want to highlight some fantastic things to do on Mother’s Day in South Bay.

The first place I want to mention is Terranea Spa and Resort. I go there all the time with my 7-year-old daughter, and she loves it. It’s located in Ranchos Palos Verdes and is a great place to go for a beautiful walk, listen to the waves crash, eat delicious food, and enjoy the moment.

Terranea is having a special Mother’s Day brunch event in their ballroom. Reservations are from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and make sure you make yours right away because spots fill up quickly. There will be live acoustic music, a seafood station for kids, a charcuterie station, a waffle station, and more. Don’t forget to try the mango passionfruit cheesecake!

If you’re looking for something a little more intimate, Mar’sel might be the place for you. They’ll be doing a three-course meal with music on Mother’s Day from morning until early afternoon. The food is excellent, and they’re located right on the ocean, so the view is incredible.

“I hope you have a wonderful Mother’s Day!”

After you’re done eating, there will be more to do. There will be pony rides, archery lessons, horseback riding, and more. There’s also a children’s club you can put your kiddos in, so if you need a moment of peace, they have you covered.

Two other places I love are the Shade Hotels. One is located in downtown Manhattan Beach, and it’s home to a fantastic restaurant called Zinc. They will also be doing a Mother’s Day brunch from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., so make your reservations now. There’s another Shade Hotel on Redondo Beach that’s home to a great restaurant called Sea Level. Their brunch is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Another awesome restaurant is Barsha in Hermosa Beach. It’s quaint and more private than the other places on this list, so check it out if that interests you.

If you know me at all, you know that I love Manhattan Beach Post. They’ll be open on Mother’s Day from 10 a.m. until 9:30 p.m., so you’ll have all day to enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I’ve been going there since they opened, and I use every excuse I can to head over there. Don’t forget to try the cheddar biscuits if you can!

I hope you have a wonderful Mother’s Day! If you go to one of these places, please let me know how it was. Also, if you have a favorite place I didn’t mention, reach out; I love to learn about new places. Don’t hesitate to call or email me with any questions. I look forward to hearing from you!
